The Worst Day Ever

Yesterday was/were/turned out to be the worst/most terrible/dreadful day of my life. It all started when I woke up/got out of bed/rolled over. I spilled/dropped/knocked over my coffee all over myself, and then I realized/discovered/found out that I had forgotten/missed/ignored an important appointment/meeting/test.

To make matters worse, I got stuck/was late for/missed work. My boss was furious/angry/irritated, and I ended up/had to/was forced to work late/overtime/all night. When I finally got home, my car wouldn't start/tires were flat/broke down.

I just wanted to cry/scream/give up. It was the most awful/cruelest/saddest day ever.

My list of misfortunes continued.

  • My phone died/I lost my phone/Someone stole my phone
  • It rained/The sun was unbearably hot/A hurricane hit

I just hope/wish/pray that today will be better.
